SolArena ("we", "us", "the Platform") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data. SolArena is designed with a privacy-first approach: we use wallet-based authentication and collect minimal personal information.

DATA WE COLLECT

SolArena collects no personal information such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, or physical addresses. Our wallet-based authentication means we never require personal identity documents.

The data we do collect includes:

Wallet Address

Your public Solana wallet address, used to identify you on the Platform and process transactions. This is a pseudonymous identifier — it does not reveal your real-world identity.

Game History

Records of games played, bets placed, outcomes, and timestamps. This data is necessary for provably fair verification and leaderboard functionality.

Chat Messages

Messages sent in the global chat and game lobbies. These are stored for moderation purposes and community safety.

Usage Analytics

Anonymous, aggregated analytics data such as page views, session duration, and feature usage to help us improve the Platform.

HOW DATA IS USED

We use collected data for the following purposes:

Gameplay: Processing bets, resolving game outcomes, and distributing winnings.
Leaderboards & Rankings: Displaying competitive standings, weekly race results, and achievement tracking.
Provably Fair Verification: Storing game seeds, hashes, and outcomes so any game can be independently verified.
Platform Analytics: Understanding usage patterns to improve features, fix bugs, and optimize performance.
Moderation: Reviewing chat messages and game activity to enforce community guidelines and prevent abuse.
Security: Detecting and preventing fraud, collusion, multi-accounting, and bot activity.

DATA RETENTION

Game history and provably fair verification data are retained indefinitely to ensure transparency and allow game verification at any time.

Chat messages are retained for up to 90 days, after which they may be automatically purged.

Analytics data is stored in aggregated, anonymized form and does not contain identifiable wallet addresses.

If you request account deletion, we will remove your wallet association and chat history within 30 days. Game history may be retained in anonymized form for provably fair integrity.

COOKIES & TRACKING

SolArena uses wallet-based authentication rather than traditional account-based login. We do not use cookies for user tracking or advertising purposes.

We may use minimal localStorage entries for functional purposes such as:

Age verification confirmation
Sound preferences
UI preferences (e.g., sidebar state)

No third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking mechanisms are employed.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

SolArena integrates with the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

Ably

Real-time messaging infrastructure for live game updates, chat, and notifications. Ably processes connection metadata but not personal data.

Neon (PostgreSQL)

Serverless database hosting for game records, leaderboards, and platform data. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit.

Solana Blockchain

All transactions are recorded on the public Solana blockchain. On-chain data is permanent and publicly viewable by design.

Wallet Providers

Phantom, Solflare, and other wallet adapters handle your key management. We never have access to your private keys.

YOUR RIGHTS

You have the following rights regarding your data on SolArena:

Access: Request a copy of all data associated with your wallet address.
Deletion: Request deletion of your account data, including wallet association and chat history. Note that anonymized game records may be retained for provably fair integrity.
Correction: Request correction of any inaccurate data associated with your account.
Portability: Request an export of your game history in a machine-readable format.
Objection: Object to the processing of your data for any purpose beyond core gameplay functionality.
